Gutted mate. Do you have the option of a refund and going for something else - or is the MK-80 really the only mech that your interested in?

Full refund is an option, I've emailed them back asking when in March they think they'll be able to fulfil the order. If they say at the beginning I might hold out for it.

As for the MK-80 it wasn't my first brand of choice but it was the only one that seemed to fit what I wanted. Which was MX browns, backlit in blue, with that specific key layout. I did see other boards I preferred the look of but this had what I wanted. Hoping that it wouldn't be too much of a compromise in each area to get it all.

why aren't there any brown switch keyboards? they sound like the best all-round switches?

blue - too loud
red - too light
black - non tactile

brown - leet

Hm? There's loads. I just sold my Filco with browns, and I'm just waiting for my Choc Mini with browns to arrive.

As annoying as it is then, its probably better to wait for what you really want rather than compromise and not really be happy with it.

Dude that sucks.

I got Blazer to order one as well on Vent the other night. He wanted a QPAD with red switches but ending up ordering blacks after I waffled on about me liking them.

You've also got the Zowie Celeritas. Only issue with that is the nylon keycaps wear down EXTREMELY quickly

Well I got the filco blank keyset today and fitted them to the Zowie. Everything fitted fine except the spacebar which does not fit. The fixing points are different on the zowie so I have had to leave the original spacebar on.

So far it has been very good, it is a little odd getting used to having no markings but I am sure I will get used to it. The keys also feel quite different to the original ones, I will give these a chance but at the moment I think I prefered the feel of the original keys.

No its not, i don't think logitech make a mech keyboard, which is a shame.

Anyone else here who owns a Black Widow and have experienced uneven rubber feet causing the keyboard to wobble when typing? Kinda disappointing, it's the only negative thing i have about it so far, and for now i have fixed with a temp solution. Some people suggest sending it back to get it replaced, but it's not as though the keyboard it's self that isn't working.

I am just wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you fix it?

Yeah, I was thinking that as well looking at the pics. Quite thinking I'd like to see one like that but in a checker board pattern.

I just went to the WASD site to find you a pic from their gallery and noticed that the site had changed slightly.... No Blog link at the top So i browsed the products page which seemed to have changed a bit, and then.......

Went to the Custom Keyboard Designer, and there is a drop down to design a 105key layout!!!!!

Much happiness, and my plans for the day are now fallen by the wayside!! Awesomeness

Bah! They don't yet have the 105key keyboard with brown switches, or the custom template to download for 105key (the online custom tool works - i just want more control over what goes on each keycap). I imagine that if i modify the 104key template, send them back a standard version to add to their website, and also my own that I want to use then that'll work. Just need the right switches now!!

For those interested, I've been using the FILCO Ninja Majestouch Tenkeyless with Cherry MX Browns for a couple of weeks and have written a review (with pretty pictures) at the link below. I was impressed with the performance and finish/quality, but it is a bit short on enthusiast/gamer features.
