Tweaker what model is it, looks wireless? Or just the way you took the pic.

Bloody removable cable, thought I'd found 'the one' there for a second.

Indeed, the cable plugs in the bottom and has cable routing underneath. I have to admit, i really like the tenkeyles layout, possibly the best LAN/portable keyboard i have used.

Can you see any visible difference to the old one?

To be honest, not really, but I didn't examine it that closely before fitting it. It does look a bit silly when fitted because I've angled it in reverse so it leans backwards rather than forwards, meaning there is a bigger gap between it and the keys in front compared to the adjacent keys :) More comfortable to use that way though because my thumbs press down flat on the key rather than on a 'sharp' edge.

My new toy arrived from CM today :)

Awesome looking keyboard, would have been very very tempted by that if I hadn't just gotten my Qpad MK-85

I dunno, the MK-85 is the best keyboard you can buy right now. I will say this though, the Rapid has been on my want list since i heard about it, NKRO, Black or Red switches, tenkeyless, classic design and strong build quality. This is my LAN keyboard for sure.

I just got my MK-85 through today from ocuk, and i have to say it's absolutely amazing!! I didn't know if I was going to like the red led, but I love it, and the general feel of the keyboard is amazing, although I am still getting used to it.

Just need to work out some useful macros for gaming, but a thoroughly recommended keyboard!!

Has anyone used White Alps before? There's a keyboard at work with White Alps keys, and I was wondering how they compare to Cherry MX keys.

I wouldn't pay £70+ for white alps, they have a nice click but they don't feel much better than domes.

Bought some O-Rings to try quieten down the bottoming out of my Filco.

I'm cool with it but it translates over VOIP too much!

I don't have a key puller, safe/viable alternatives? Bend up some wire?

Haha I just failed XD

I didn't realise browns bump :/ mine don't seem too.

Lol, I thought the same when I first tried the brown switches. If you press a key down gently until it actuates, then release (don't let it bottom out) then the bump is quite easily noticeable. You're supposed to never bottom out browns when typing. It's pretty difficult though, but I'm getting more used to it now. Up to 75wpm touch typing which is a small amount higher than what I managed before on a membrane keyboard, though now I'm being much more gentle and not bottoming out. I'd imagine superior technique will mean I reach higher speeds more easily (it works this way with guitar playing so I'm assuming typing is the same).

Enjoy the keyboard, I'm loving mine :)
