OK a quick update after using my Celeritas for a couple of months.
Having replaced the spacebar, my issues with it sticking are gone, which has helped matters a lot in terms of my confidence in working. Fitting it upside down has also made it a lot more confortable to use.
In terms of general typing, I'm starting to get used to it although as some have suggested maybe a little tiring after extensive use. It feels like I'm typing at a decent rate but I'm not sure how much of that is a placebo effect due to the clicky sounds - kinda the equivalent of a car revving in low gear but maybe not actually going that fast
For gaming I'm still struggling a little bit with hitting two keys at once by mistake. My left hand rests over TFGH for movement, and when I reach out with my index finger to press I, I'm finding myself pressing U and I at the same time. I think the keys must be spread out a tad more than on my previous keyboards, hopefully this issue will resolve itself over time as I get more used to it.
For multimedia the volume control is a bit of a faff, as decreasing using a single hand is quite tough as I have to stretch a bit to hold down the Zowie key with my thumb while hitting F2 with my pinky. A lot less pleasant than the jog wheel my my old G15.
In terms of the noise, I think I made the right decision going for brown switches, as I've had no complaints from the wife when using it at night which was something I was a little wary about.
Overall I'd say it is a decent keyboard that has grown on me slightly since my initioanl impressions, but does not really feel like it justifes the nearly £100 pricetag. It probably joins my SSD in the "not as good as expected from the hype" pile
