If you want my help you'll need to tell me what you want the mechanical keyboard for? gaming/typing? low noise/high noise, linear feedback?

I think I will stick with my original Razer blackwidow ultimate, I don't like the green backlighting on the 2013 version. Yuk.

It is interesting how Razer are going the feedback route, it seems to buck the trend. I have always been a fan of blue switches, so it is nice to see a keyboard company still pushing them out, even if they are a little OTT. Hopefully we will see the brown switch versions hit stores as well.

I bought my Dad the blackwidow ultimate on friday. Firstly, how freaking heavy is that thing? Very well made in that respect. It's a finger print magnet but the feel of the keys are absolutely spot on. Would say that it justifies the high price tag. Now to get one for myself!

Don't buy razer, get something better for that price

I'm currently going through placing O-Rings on the back of all my keys on the MK-85 (feels like a dream to type with now) but I'm unsure as to how to remove the non-standard sized keys i.e. spacebar, enter, ctrl etc.

It seems as though they have some kind of retaining clips behind the keys. Does anyone know how to remove these keys?

Hmm didn't realize this thread was still going lol. Thinking about selling my WASD. Just can't justify have such an expensive keyboard any more.
