** The Official OcUK Mechanical Keyboard Thread **

The white Filco I want only comes with reds (all I can find anyway), but the keys are pretty light, great for touch typing. Really undecided still and all depends on use. Not sure i'd want blacks for things like MMO's, but great for fast action :)
 
Where can I buy the CM storm QuickFire Rapid with NO BRANDING?

Pretty sure all the versions come like that from new batches.

I don't, ring OCUK and ask them if they'll find out for you. I doubt they'd say no if they didn't know already.
 
I'd guess OcUK have the newer ones since they've been like that for a little bit. Still, best give them a little ring :)
 
Oooof, I think I've found my keyboard. That CM is spot on unbranded!

I've found it at a competitor's site, but they're showing the branded pics. Might be worth a mail, or an impulse gamble. :D
 
According to geekhack forums, it seems from those manufactured since July have been unbranded. Really thinking of one of those now. Only hear good things!

It depends on what region you are in, the unbranded versions for the UK have been available to distributors since August, so it is likely filtered though by now.
 
I've just pinged OcUK a webnote to see if their black switch versions are unbranded, and to see if they can get the red switch version in.

I'll let you know when they reply.
 
I'd expect them to be unbranded since they've been produced that way for quite a while.

I was hoping OcUK might get the brown version in :p

Been reading and still can't decide which keyboard would suit me best. I literally only really play FPS games at the moment and want a keyboard with switches that don't have feedback and is backlit.
Budget is around £100 though less is preferable. Is the Coolermaster looking to be the best option? What switches are recommended, red?

Any help appreciated

I would say Red or Black for FPS but it's purely whatever you like the feel of. The Coolermaster is very popular. I'm unsure what others are around that price.
 
The K60 would be a good choice for FPS, but if you would like a tenkeyless layout with back light, try a Quickfire TK. I'd say Reds are good for FPS, or Blacks if you like to bottom out the keys a lot :)

I personally just don't seem to like the K90, maybe its the massive bank of macro keys that I hate? :p
