So one plus now command the same price as flagship manufacturers like Samsung?
That seem popular but I know I wouldn't go there.

Do you guys actually notice the difference in speed in these new phones? I personally haven't felt a phone has been slow in a fair few years.

I'm not sure what people do with phones but for £200 quid I bought a Lenovo P2 and its fast enough for me. My girlfriend has the Oneplus3T and thats not massively different for real world usage.

I only use whatsapp, chrome and youtube though. Maybe people like speed for games or something. I honestly don't need anything more than I've currently got.

The same could be said for a lot things, high end PC's etc. no one 'needs' the latest processor really but why not if you can/want to? It will also help with longevity of the device as more intensive applications and android updates come out I suppose. It's also part of the whole package, excellent camera, fast storage and FPS, good build quality etc.

I dont really need a ton of storage and I figure 6gb of ram will be plenty so i was going to get the £450 model but i was wondering if i should get the £500 model any way. My thinking is that the £500 model might not depreciate as much as it'll probably be the more popular choice for most people?
Hard to say as most people won't even have heard of OnePlus ! If re-sale value is important then get a Samsung or iPhone if not then just get the OnePlus that suits your needs.

Nope they don't command the same price. Tell me where I could have got a S8 on release day for £500?

Even from Samsungs site the S8 is still £689. Yes I know it can be had cheaper from Amazon Italy but that wasn't on release day.

Another update has just popped up... 4.5.2
36MB Bug fixes and optimisations.

Gotta wait till Tuesday for my OnePlus silicon case to turn up before I can pop my SIM in.

Got my hands on one as part of the early drop. EE sim in and supports WiFi calling and VoLTE.

How is everyone's screen uniformity? Mine is definitely more yellow on the left hand side and purple on the right. Think I will probably return. What's best? Return and reorder and just keep repeating until happy on the screen lotto?

I'm torn...1+5 or S8+...
coming from nexus 6 ..if 1+ would be 400-450 then there would be no competition..at 500mark it got difficult ;D can get 8+ for around 550.

Mine should arrive tomorrow. Early drop, but I held out 24 hrs to confirm my mid year bonus was going to materialise.

Just noticed my 1+1 has a micro sim, not nano.

Ordered another sim but might have a go at cutting this one.

I bought one yesterday. Really impressed and would definitely recommend it. Feels like a huge step up from my old nexus 5x in every way. I just hope oneplus are timely with their OS updates.

don't feel too bad now about not buying OP5 for 450 with that mediocre camera. This brand new S7 for 235 will do just fine, until something better comes up again in few months time.
