**** The Official OnePlus 6 Thread ****

I see a lot of people are complaining now....saying things like why doesn't my 5 or 5t have it, it's only 6 months old blah blah blah

Why are people so stupid?
Yeah you can't really complain after the fact but having owned a couple of OPs myself, it's a hard life when they release one every 6 months. Sure the "old" phone is still perfectly fine but I get the buyer's remorse. I've skipped both the 5 and 5T and knowing how OP works I'll skip the 6 as well and wait for the 6T later this year.

My prediction

Snapdragon 845
6.3" 1080p OLED Panel
6gb/64gb - 8gb/128gb|256gb
16mp+20mp Cameras which are a slight bump in quality over the 5T
IP67 Water Rating
Wireless Charging
Dash charge 2
No SDCard, No stereo speakers

£449, £499, £549

and I'm going out on a limb with this one........FACTORY FITTED SCREEN PROTECTOR!

If I'm right, I'll buy one

I'm so confused... got myself a Pixel 2 XL Monday evening @ Carphone. 17 hours later it's showing the "screen flash" issue when switching screen off. Quick chat with Google, factory reset, flash still happening but it's intermittent and doesn't happen all the time. Maybe i just need to try and return this and go back to Oneplus with the 6 :(

My prediction

Snapdragon 845 - Yes
6.3" 1080p OLED Panel , Doubtful
6gb/64gb - 8gb/128gb|256gb - Probably
16mp+20mp Cameras which are a slight bump in quality over the 5T - Yes
IP67 Water Rating - No
Wireless Charging - No
Dash charge 2 - Maybe
No SDCard, No stereo speakers - Yes

£449, £499, £549 - More

Still no OIS I bet, so you'll see the same old blurry shots as you do on the OP5 and OP5T
No HD streaming on Netflix and Amazon, cuz OnePLus are cheap like that

Anyway, not long to wait and it won't take long for users to report the issues, I don't trust reviews when it comes to OnePlus devices.

The 6.3" OLED screen is almost a certainty as it's what was used in the Oppo r15, and they have hinted at water resistance on their twitter feed.

Lack of OIS is REALLY annoying!

Hmm. Not sure I would be happy with that screen size and still only 1080p, it's about time they went to 1440p.

Lack of OIS basically means most of your shots in moderate lighting will be unusable and almost all in low light will be unusable unless you use a tripod.

I guess if they spent extra on developing the stabilisation software it might improve but they don't have the resources that Google have.

It's basically the same screen as the 5T, just extended right up to the very top. Should look ok to be fair and the battery life will no doubt get a boost because of it.

OIS has always been the number one pet hate of mine with oneplus. To be honest, I think I am going to wait for the Pixel 3.

Oh yes, the notch, they count that as screen. What a joke. :D
