**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

I understand it happens on one of the Reddit apps as well.

I'm just saying that it seems like sloppy QA if they don't test the phone against one of the most popular benchmarking apps on the Play Store. OnePlus try to cater to enthusiasts so I am quite astonished they didn't see this, to be honest. That's what I meant by sloppy.

Well hopefully it's just a software problem. I myself bought the 8gb version and don't have any problems at 60hz or 90hz running the latest oxygenOS and latest cpu-z app.

From what I've seen of the problem it's definitely inconvenient to put it lightly. I wouldn't be happy if mine was doing it.

If they sort it out quickly, acknowledge the problem and apologise it's fine with me.

I completely understand the point about teething problems and so on and all brands have those, I just find it surprising that OnePlus has released another phone with ghost touches. That's all.

Apologies on the condescending point regarding your age and so on, I just get frustrated when people imply some of us are here to cause mischief or whatever. It really isn't about that at all.

No worries mate, I've got thick skin :)

Reading on Reddit that ghosting is common on many amoled screens, including Samsungs? Or is it a different problem?

To be fair the OnePlus 7 is smaller. That actually looks more appealing to me, except for the notch (have got used to it on my iPhone XS, having said that).
.

No not really fair. Smaller yes but still not small enough, and missing pro features. I'm talking 90hz, camera array and full screen display.

The non pro OP7 is a relatively unexciting phone, other Chinese manufacturers offer better value and features for the £500 bracket although it does have software on its side.

Can't help but feel that maybe they should have downsized it to 6" or less for those wanting a smaller handset with powerful internals, S10e style.

Could it possibly be an overheating issue? iFixit teardown shows a lot of thermal paste on the heatsink, maybe it's a QC issue with poor paste application on some phones? Skip to 1m22s

Absolutely agree.

I’d love an OP7 Pro that was smaller but kept everything else the same.
