**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

Are the temperatures particularly high in CPU-Z when people starting to experience the ghost touches?

It switches on all the sensors at once, which may possibly cause overheating somewhere. Are people still getting ghost touches with CPU-Z if they disable the sensor readings in the settings?

Just logged 6:30hrs screen on time with 15% with battery left. Phone setup is...

Auto brightness around 50%
90hz
1440p
NFC on
Bluetooth on
WiFi and LTE on
Location services on

About a hour of Spotify, hour of YouTube, few app updates, playing with the camera and the rest browsing the internet. Happy with that!

Not bad going, I remember someone posted here saying he had fell a sleep with YouTube running and got something like 8 hours sot.

I must add to be fair the brightness from his phone was on auto and thus the brightness was at a low level.

That would have been me.... Lol

Ah I see, well I appreciate your honesty on the sot and the like.

I edited this post not to be rude that is all.

I don't want to attack anybody for whatever reason that is.

But being honest I think he didn't post the last full charge okay?

Now you know why I edited my post and wanted it in a more polite manner.

Otherwise it would be like what am I on about because I think he didn't post last full charge.

I did have 8hrs sot before but it would have been a dim screen and the adaptive refresh rate would have been less.

Battery life seems pretty good to me. This at home on Wi-Fi, screen at 2k/60hz

Or use the Oxygen Updater app from the Play Store

I tried that app.
It downloads the EU version. But when I hold down Vol down and start, I get no option to to flash a file.

I get reboot to bootloader\Recovery or clean cache and just reboot\off

EDIT= You go in to settings\system\system update then touch the top right cog.
and the manual update option is there. :o

For some reason, I can't transfer over my old text messages. I use my usual app, but the messages don't show. If I try again, the app says basically everything is duplicates as it can see them there already... but I can't see them. Anyone seen this before?

Also, I'm considering removing the screen protector. Anyone else done it and going naked? It doesn't have a great feel and seems to attract dust more with this protector on :(

I wondered about removing the screen protector, but don't want to scratch the screen doing it.

Guess it'll start peeling off at some point, then I can just pull it off.

I use Textra app and they all moved over perfectly fine for me. Backup, then setup new phone and they all just loaded in from google account
