*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

New cheaper PS Vita, PS Vita TV, and PS4.. Sony killing it imho. Xbone must be worried at this point?

Lucky they have that secret GPU :D:p;)

Vita is dead, handhelds are totally owned by android and iOS, iOS and Apple TV has been doing the vita tv type thing since iOS 5 and Sony just angered Japan by saying feb 2014 in its home market, seems crazy to me

So close, but it was a Giant Crab ;)
Actually it appears they were either using 1 PS4 to stream and to game off with 5 players, or potentially they were using the power of the cloud :p

I thought this at first, but there's no way the PS4 could support that many screens. I also thought it was weird they highlighted him picking up the projector in his dorm room and taking it with him, he then plugs the PS4 into the projector.

So they're just streaming the footage from the individual ps4s connected to the tv's using the share button to the ps4 connected to the projector.

Thats what I mean, I just cant fathom what they are doing there especially with what appears to be them plugging in a single PS4 into the projector...

Now if the PS4 can handle 5 players at full screen thats cool :p Maybe its a got a dGPU too? ;):p

The omission of having a PS4 per screen is just a bit funny considering the ad in question, that and the fact with 5 players its actually impossible to play on a single PS4 anyway :p

I quite like mine.. :)

Mines been ok as well. It'll perhaps come into its own when Ps4 ships, I can see quite a few using the remote play features.

Have to agree, iphone, or mobile phones and tablets have pretty much now shown most of the handheld market a thing or two, 3DS still does quite well mind.

PSP was ok, custom firmware was handy - the vita is a fab machine sadly not sold as well as it should have done really.

I'm not saying that the Vita is a bad machine, aside from the propriatory memory cards it seems a decent bit of kit.

But no-one wants one. Phones have taken over and Nintendo own the handheld console market anyway.

If the Vita can remote play almost every PS4 game then I can see it taking off better than it has. But TBH I think that is a big if.

I cannot play games on a touch screen. Especially racing games I find a joystick is a must.

Real Racing 3 was actually playable, zen pinball was playable on touch screen, crazy taxi was ok but Dead Trigger was near on impossible for me.

Vita - wipeout 2047 and then you are talking good mobile gaming : - )

As said its not a bad machine but wonder if Ps4 will help its chances. I will use my vita for remote play - on the sofa when missus watches her crud on telly, or in bed for a quick bit of whatever takes me fancy..

Now, when you've got kids and a baby in the other rooms, and a sleepy missus, well playing vita games or Ps4 games on a vita screen is about as good as you'll get lol

Erm ok moving on..
