At the moment I'd upgrade your PC. You won't be missing much in the first 6 months - year of either console imo. Especially if you already have one of the two on order.

I don't think that blue light swipes across like a cylon's eye. It's just a steady glow.

That blue light on the controller bothers me a bit and I don't think you can turn it off either. Hope it's not too distracting reflecting off my plasma!

.It can't be turned off because it serves to tell you when the controller is on/connected as well as for the camera functionality.
That said, if people do find it's too bright I imagine they'd be able to release an update to dim it if required.

It's 60FPS "Most of the time". Good enough for me.

A slight drop dosn't matter to me (anything over 30 is great).
I'd prefer lesser frame rate than less resolution (which I'd be more concerned with). For me 1080p at 30 fps should be the standard. Anything else is a bonus.

Basically said Amazon with be allowing people to upgrade but they have no specifics yet. They will be in touch with customers via email.

For those of you who have pre-ordered with GAME locally, I spoke with the store I pre-ordered from this morning and they informed me starting next week they are going to be contacting all pre-order customers and asking which bundle they would like to switch to (if any). Phase 1 pre-orders will get priority then phase 2.
If you ordered before August 6th, you're in phase 1. Any pre-orders since then are under phase 2. I'd assume other local stores will be following a similar protocol.
