It is in a way, on ps3 pressing the PS button was a lag fest if you was online in game and wanted to check messages friends list and so on.
It's super fast now, I'm aware of psn issues, I was talking about system speed making for a better online experience.

Always wear headphones as the directionality of sound is a lot tighter for multiplayer than when it's open in the room (footsteps, gun fire, voices, vehicles etc). I've played this way for so long that I don't like playing without them now.

You also need to be Plus if you want it for $8. Its about $14 if your not.
