You may be able to change the name of the device in the actual HUB's list of connected devices.
I will check on my Sky Fibre router later.

My PS4 doesn't seem to be working on the wifi anymore saying that it may be too far away from the router despite it being full strength signal and nothing has changed in my house. Will try restarting router when I'm home and see what happens.
Yeah, I had a look but there doesn't seem to be any option of giving custom names on the Sky hub.
It still comes up as unknown. Same for the PS3.
LPCM is only two channels IF the PS4 is connected via Optical, a little caveat to be aware of.
Dolby and DTS support 5.1 surround and LPCM can support 7.1 so it depends on his setup like you say.

Yer - I'm with you at that one. Kicked off the download at 6:30pm and I was playing by 7:00.
Kicked off Transformers at 11:00pm with the plan to leave it overnight, was finished by 11:30.

I have a 5.1 Onkyo setup (nothing out of this world I know, but I'm happy with it). I'm connecting via HDMI only from the PS4 to the receiver.
I've left it on LPCM and I've been happy with the results thus far. May try the others, but my amateur ears probably won't notice the difference

just downloaded here via wifi, 40 mins altogether.
Anyone got the latest 4.01 update. Just installed it few things I've noticed unless they were in previous versions.
Download queue now shows a download bar on when you can start playing.
Also, this might of been a one off or because I was downloading in rest mode, but when I turned my ps4 on from rest mode it instantly went to my sign in screen. Normally turning on from rest mode still takes a few seconds but this was instant!!
Yeah its annoying thing I live with where I have audio passthrough to my old PC speaker system (Z5400s) via my TV so forced to bitstream...
No real reason to change it while it works and its in a bedroom
EDIT: Just downloaded the PS+ games, took 15mins maybe. BTW has anyone tried to play Transformers that had the BD version? I presume Ill need to delete that and re-download the digital version right? I presume that wont **** up my saves?!?

Recently moved into my first house with the new wife and bought a new 49" 4K TV with a PS4 Slim.
I was debating getting the PS4 Pro due to it's 'native' (I use that term loosly) 4K support but I have my PC for the graphically intensive games and I got it at a great price too.

I'll just play Ratchet and Clank while I let Resident Evil download. It will be a surprise for my younger brother who loves those sorts of games, he's excited for Resident Evil 7 and I've managed to prevent him from downloading the demo (I've only got a 480GB SSD on my PS4 lol) so far, though he watches other people go through it on Youtube and whatnot.
