*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Anyway, since I'm not selling my PS4... can you guys help me out by steering me in the direction of PS4 games I absolutely have to play?

I have a low-end PC (2500k/R480) so multi-plat games that are cheaper on Steam - unless they're better on PS4 - can be skipped over. Anything that has a terrible PC port of a good PS4 game can be included tho.

So far on my hit-list:

The Last of Us
Horizon Zero Dawn
Uncharted 1 (and then possibly the rest if I like it...)

(is that all the exclusives? Surely not)

Then Prey as it seems cheaper on the PS4 than Steam

... and then I start struggling :p

The Last Guardian any good?

I didn't buy an XBox One X because I'm not 100% shooter focused. Love a good adventure game/ MetroidVania; story games are my thing. Multiplayer focused games are not my thing :p Not interested in Destiny or Overwatch or CoD or the like. Just doesn't float my boat.

Suggestions very welcome!

Uncharted Collection is currently $9.99 on the US PSN store, think I'll pick that up.

I noticed that. But I also noticed you need to have a US address and US registered CC/debit card to purchase. In the UK store it's £16.

It's a mick-take. The US "before" price is $20, the sale price is $10. The UK "before" price is £30, the sale price £16. Hardly fair. We're going to end up like Australia - paying more just because.

It's a 2015 game anyway so I put in a bid on the 'bay for a 2nd hand physical copy instead.

Is PUBG coming to ps4 in future?

Yeah apparently but nothing announced yet. Depends on how long Microsoft have the timed exclusivity. At least by the time it comes out the bugs should be ironed out.

Edit: try fortnite, it runs great, free And Puki85 plays it :p

Easy enough to get around, just buy US psn credit on Amazon.com using a random us address (pick a digital tax free state) and then make a US psn account to redeem. Just make sure you change your billing address to the US address or it won't let you buy. Amazon don't seem to check, been buying US steam games on there for years. Depending on the card used you might get a foreign transaction fee, think mine is 2.75%.

You can then play the US games on your UK account.

It runs like crap on the PC and that been out for a while so i wouldn't hold your breath.

Just got a PS4 Pro before xmas with a VR bundle.

What good exclusives are there, already have an XboxOne. Looked at Uncharted though unsure which one to get.. seem to be many many options :)

All the Uncharted games are good the 1st one i found a tiny bit janky with the controls but nothing to make someone not get the game and once you get to 3 it is very refined. Last of Us a lot consider a must play, Horizon Zero Dawn is also pretty epic as well.

Virtually all the best exclusives can be had for cheap as well.

You want the Uncharted Collection it includes Uncharted 1-3 remastered from the PS3 originals.

Are you not Plus? As it's £14.49 on PSN
Would rather take physical for re-sale value.

PC games tend to be a lot cheaper so I don't mind the zero re-sale value. Console games you spend big but you can sell 'em on again. PSN is neither cheap, nor can you re-sell anything. It's the worst of both worlds lol.

I've not been impressed at all by the prices on the UK PSN store. So no, no reason to sub to PSN. I'm not a multiplayer guy.

It's would be worth next to nothing second hand but your preference.
