It improves throughout and it'd probably be in my top 10 for the year but unlikely to be in top 5. Well worth picking up on sale so don't be put off

The combat is great once you start upgrading. It's a slow starter but when it gets going it's great. Definitely GoTY material.

Hmm, camera angle has changed?

I thought the bosses were supposed to be brutal in this yet I have more difficulty with the draugers with rockets. Especially 3 - 4 at a time.

Yea only seen few videos on the game to avoid spoilers, but they changed the camera form the previous Gow games

Ah, I've never played the previous games but heard all the hype for this and saw some crazy scenery then had to grab it. Though there is a 180 flick button. Which feels like mouse accel since it doesn't spin in the exact position each time.

It's hard for me to judge the combat completely as I am coming off playing bloodborne for the first time. In comparison it seems average at best.
