Any recommendations for a decent/cheap Fightstick for the PS4? I purchased all the street fighter games recently..

Bought a SFV Fightstick Alpha by Madcatz for £20. Quite light and small but works well enough. Anyone modded it with sanwa parts? Kreeeee where are ya..

Capcom dropped the ball with SFV so now I only play Smash.

It looks like that stick has the physical layout to be easily modded with drop in Sanwa parts, but you will either need to solder or crimp on the spade connectors to do so. I would go for the crimping option.

Oh aye, I don't think I've played SFV for more than 1 hour since it's launch, never liked it. I do however still have SF4 plus the SF Collection on PS4, they'll do for me.

You still living abroad?

Yeah, I’ll be here for life.

I hope another great 2D fighter comes out one day that brings everyone together again.

Sorry for the dopey question but how (THE ****) do you exit the PlayStation now app on the PS4? I must be being silly but as far as I can tell exiting the app impossible save for turning off the PS4. That cannot be correct surely!!

Please can someone end my misery :(

edit - restarting works, obviously. But no way out of the app... that cannot possibly be right...

Edit 2 - oh.... you double tap the ps button. Never done that before, always held it down.

I've not used the PS Now app, but if it works the same way as the EA Access app, you press and hold the PS button on the controller and it'll bring up the quick menu (can't remember if that's it name) on the left side and close it from there.

Edit - just seen your edit 2, I'd probably been a bit stumped as well, as I always close everything by holding the PS button.

To be fair, on PS4 you don't need to worry about closing apps/games. They'll always close when you shut the power off or when you launch a new app/game. I also think there's an option in PS Now to "return to home screen" when you press the PS button?

Thanks both.

There is no option to return to the home screen or close the app when you hold the PS button. You have to double tap it. If you hold it, you can restart or turn off the PS4, but there’s no way out of the app.

If I wanted to change a game, I’d typically hold the PS button, close game, then select the new game, hence why I was completely stumped on this.

I wasn't convinced. :p So I just had a quick look. Single, short press of the PS button brings up a menu with five options, one of which is to Close Game. So does this only apply to a streamed PS3 game, I thought. Next I loaded Control which is a downloaded PS4 game. Ah. A single, short press of the PS button there brings up the home screen. A single, long press of the PS button brings up the Quick Menu from which you can close the current application. You can also press the OPTIONS button when at the home screen to close any app.

The only permutation I haven't tried is when playing a streamed PS4 game.

Ah, but you were playing a game? I was not - I was just in the app.

Here was the problem.

^ no option to quit.

But yes, a single quick press does work wonders. Never done a quick press over 10+ years of PS ownerage :)

I think it's because the PS Now app is past of the default OS and that's why there is no option to close it when you the OPTION button. Certainly I never downloaded anything when I signed up to PS Now recently, and there is no option to close the app.

Yeah, it's more like an extension of the operating system rather than an app by itself. That's how the games you play on it appear as if they were native to the PS4 itself.
