With such a higher spec,I call ******** on 16GB ram. 20GB would be more realistic, with 24GB a possibility. I miss the bit wars. At least each new console was a huge step forward. Megadrive to PlayStation was amazing. Likewise PS1 to PS2. Nowadays it's like Console 1 has 10,000 cores,Console 2 has 11,542 cores. Yaaaay!
I'd argue it still is, I've not looked at numbers, btlut I imagine the ps4 was much more powerful than a ps3, and the ps5 loads more than the ps4.

If a pro comes what will the price be? £500, 600? screw that, I will keep that back for the PS6 2-3 years later. Meanwhile in that time we can count the number of games on 2 hands that the pro outputs with a few more blades of grass that Digital Foundry run a toothcomb over.

We don't even know if one's happening but if it is, the difference will be easy noticeable if they utilise it properly and I guess it'll be more geared towards consistent 60fps, which is borderline in 2023 IMO, and higher IQ without as much upscaling than "a few more blades of grass".

All depends on the price obviously and how far off the PS6 is.

I'd say a Pro is somewhat likely at this point but I'm just not instantly dismissive of every new rumour, just a bit sceptical until I hear more. Given more UE5 games are coming out and the PS5 being absolutely assblasted by them, a refresh seems likely somewhere down the road.

EDIT: Also, if FSR3.0 matures and doesn't result in so many visuals artifacts it could be used to boost frames beyond 60fps provided the base framerate is high enough to keep the input lag below a noticeable threshold.

Refreshed hardware might just provide such base framerate.

Nah that was total of all games. D4 was like 15% or something from around 49 games.

Ah, I read it like you’d done over 1000hrs on D4 :p

I’ve had my Xbox one through. 188hrs.

80hrs on Starfield and 47hrs on Atomic Heart and 16hrs on the Witness account for almost all of my Xbox hours this year.

Reckon my PS5 will be 400ish hours.

Any ideas why I can use a Lan Cable for the interent connection?

I 100% know the cable works. Tested it with laptop

The Brand New PS5 slim connects to wifi but wont connect to my home network over lan...

What a complete JOKE!

Just says cant optain IP address in time frame...

Manually added the Connection...Nothing...Still fails...

Any ideas? Or is it a dud?

Just send it back. You shouldn’t have to fault find with a new product.
