Totally. They did similar via 3rd party sellers in Australia/NZ, too. If Sony had gone down the official lottery route here in the UK ( and US/Canada ) there would still have been many disappointed people, but at least they would have felt it was fair. As its stands, the number of "scalped" 30th anniversary PS5 Pro consoles on eBay is disgusting. And I say that as someone who didin't have FOMO for picking one up.I liked that in Japan Sony only offered it to PlayStation accounts with 30 hours registered play time to cut down on scalping. Should have done that here!

Whats worse if you look some even sold! I changed ebay to sold listings only some one bought one at 3k! (PS5 Pro Bundle)Totally. They did similar via 3rd party sellers in Australia/NZ, too. How far away is the PS6? I’ll probably wait until that drops and while we get only a few release games play all of those that have been boosted on the pro. A RDR2 60fps release would be epic, I gave up waiting though.

PS5 Digital Slim 1050!
Scalpers exist but people paying it is even more nuts to me
Sounds like FOMO to me ! Why would you consider upgrading if you barely play your base PS5 as it is ? GTA isn't going to get a meaningful boost ( old game, Rockstar focused on GTA6 ) ; not heard anything about Helldivers getting similar. GoW already looks and plays great on the base PS5 ( and PS4 ) in performance, VRR or graphical fidelity modes. Have a look at the latest DF video to see what you make of the HZD remaster ( I prefer the more natural colour palette and absence of halo lighting for characters in the original ). And CP2077 doesn't have any PS5 Pro specific updates I'm aware of .... yet. Even if it does get one, just be aware that all the RT/PT features can bring a RTX 4090 to its knees, so don't expect much of an uplift from a PS5 Pro.I'm thinking of caving and buying one. This thread isn't helping either. Its not really FOMO as I'm predominantly an xbox player and day one console buyer and only have a PS5 for playing GTA and Helldivers with some work mates but that is so irregular I have cancelled my PS sub. I have the PS4 versions of GOW and HZD which I have never played yet, also feel like getting Cyberpunk. I rarely replay games so thinking I may as well upgrade to the best gear to play them but will there be any difference playing standard versions rather than upgraded? Im not buying them again.
On PC, yes. Both the PS5 and Series X are capable, in theory, of playing RDR2 at 60fps .... but, Rockstar .... lazy gits. You could play that now above 60fps.

No chance, they'll release it as a full 69.99 priced game in a few years before RDR3 comes out.Hoping one day rock star do a 60 FPS update for red dead redemption 2.
I want to play it again but at 30 FPS I can't.

I think it’s the engine. Gta5 feels super sluggish. I hope gta6 is a lot snappier with the controls. Even if it goes against a little bit of realism.Even at 60fps on PC, it still feels a little sluggish compared to other single-player games at the same framerate.
That's with no latency issues or anything causing input lag on my end either.
