I thought so. That’s why I posted those controllers on Amazon. As ocuk don't stock them surely saying currys is OK?
£70 for a controller is a complete ripoff. Sony are really taking the p*ss nowadays.
This is my stance alsoTo be fair I feel given the tech packed into the dual sense controllers I think it’s actually not too bad for what you’r you’re getting (analogue, gyro, battery, wireless, Bluetooth pc compatibility, rumble, force feedback triggers, mic, speaker, etc).
Personally I think they’re superior compared to other options like the Nintendo pro controller, Xbox controller, 8bitdo ultimate, etc. Most of those are priced at a similar level anyway.
I’d agree that the dual edge is priced at a ludicrous level (£200) for the extras you get above the regular dual sense.
That would be annoying. Thankfully my launch ps5 pad has been ok does the last 4 years other than some of the face buttons (x and o) starting to feel a bit spongy/worn.The £70 price tag wouldn't be so bad if they actually lasted a long time. I'm on my 4th now due to stick drift.

I've found somewhere that will fix them for £12.50 each but it's just a pain...
The vindaloo place has them in stock.
Still haven't purchased the Pro. It's still a available directly from Sony, but I'm waiting till 10th October on the (very small chance) that launch day retailers have a better deal. I don't even know which retailers will have it, but I doubt it will be sold out instantly, so no rush.

If the price is the same I may still just get it from a bricks and mortar shop, just for convenience in case of any issues.
In the meantime I think the standard slim has dropped in price (on a few websites) from €449 to €399 , making the Pro literally double the price at €799
I'm gonna sell the OG PS4, fingers crossed, for around 300-350.

To be fair - and I didn’t know this until I pre-ordered from Direct - they only take payment on dispatch so all good (fingers crossed). That’s my plan. Wait until the 10th. Then I can drop in a pre-order somewhere that doesn’t take payment in advance.
That way I’ve until the 22nd November to decide if I still want to buy the system or just stick with my regular ps5.
Mine, that now has developed stick drift, was £39 last November. Not sure why they've nearly doubled in price.£70 for a controller is a complete ripoff. Sony are really taking the p*ss nowadays.

That'll have been a Black Friday offer, I'd imagine there'll be similar this year though Sony did recently increase the price of the controllers by a fiver I think.Mine, that now has developed stick drift, was £39 last November. Not sure why they've nearly doubled in price.
Aye I do tend to get on offer, looks like it's currently just shy of £60That'll have been a Black Friday offer, I'd imagine there'll be similar this year though Sony did recently increase the price of the controllers by a fiver I think.
I returned one to Sony for stick drift and got a replacement, although it took about 6 weeks. It was about 10 months old.Mine, that now has developed stick drift, was £39 last November. Not sure why they've nearly doubled in price.
