Both mine are launch day controllers, I was looking to get a black one and change to black plates on the PS5 but never got around to it. Has anyone tried to recalibrate their controller to see if the drift can be fixed? One of mine had ever so slight drift but the online calibration seems to have masked it for now.

Mine, that now has developed stick drift, was £39 last November. Not sure why they've nearly doubled in price.
Our white pad that came with the console developed drift on the left stick over a year ago, the red one we bought at the same time is still fine. I refused to buy another one at the silly money they ask now.

I picked up some WD Specialist Contact cleaner last week and sprayed some around the edge with the stick pushed down. Gave it a few rotations and left it to dry. It has been okay since. Not sure how long it will last but happy for now for the sake of £5.

I returned one to Sony for stick drift and got a replacement, although it took about 6 weeks. It was about 10 months old.

I have had another that got drift really quickly but I left it too long to do anything about. This second one though, I wasn't having it. It was a black one that I got on release day too so they couldn't argue about the purchase date etc.

Just to say, I've had about 5 which are all fine. One is a launch day one from years ago.
Yeah, I'm currently moving house so will get onto it in a week or two.

Got until the end of Nov with warranty cover on this black one and the unused one that came with the console that will at least tide me over.

Following on from my recent post about price drops in Spain, it seems the same in the UK as well:

Dumb question.. but the monsters in the very first starting area after the intro..you can’t kill them right ?

Edit. The presentation and animation is stunning.

I have never actually owned a console (I was there when the PS1 came out) but I have been watching the Space Marines 2 footage online I really want to play it. Having checked that the PS6 isn't about to launch I have just placed the pre-order for the PS5 pro...

Nice, you will have loads of great PS4 and PS5 games to catch up on

Space Marines 2 is fantastic and it reminds me of playing games back on the Xbox 360.

Quality 10 hour campaign, fun multiplayer that doesn't necessarily demand all of your time and a great PvE mode to play with friends or solo matchmaking with nice varying difficulty levels.

I've got 45 hours playtime on it and I still want to play more!

Yeah, that's my issue with Atlus games, too. The inevitable consumer gouging by releasing a director's cut/royale edition a year later. They say they're not going to do that this time ... but I don't trust them.
Have they actually said that this time? I might be tempted then.
I wouldn't have minded so much about P5 if they ever offered any upgrade options, but nope - full price again please... I bought p5 full price and didn't get round to playing it much before p5r was announced, and heralded as the only way to play the game.

I had read that they plan to go down the DLC route this time ( as they are doing with Persona 3 Reload ), but I've never been able to find a direct quote from Atlus to substantiate this. I'm on the fence with this game ; I like the look of it ( and demo ) but have been burned with P4, P5 and SMT V.
