That's where I got my disc drive from. Had it delivered to local PO to collect it, thought I could walk down there with my backpack to get it. When she handed over a box about 80 x 60 x 40cm big... No stuffing inside it, just the boxed drive rattling around.... had to take it out and stomp the rest down outside the PO looking like a nutter.
 
I just flicked through the DF video (the 1hr one), on some games the improvements were night and day, like on Rebirth, and others it was get a magnifying glass out to see a background element had some fuzz on its ear (Ratchet and Clank). Initial thought is that (If I wanted a PS5) I'd have got one for the FPS improvements because the graphical ones were not enough from the samples shown. I am not a pixel peeper even on PC, performance and fidelity I need in equal measure to get the best experience, so I guess if I was a one console (no gaming pc) user it would be quite an easy purchase.
I would absolutely be 3d printing my own stand though lol.

Ive been in 2 minds since my pro preorder, I likely will keep it, just not exactly overwhelmed by it, but its a shiny new thing and i'm a sucker for that, and I presume it will be at least 3 years before we see a PS6.

Anyone cancelling their ps direct order in favor of somewhere else ? I see shopto have a whole 15p off! Was hoping for a bundle or something.
 
The PS5 and the Switch are the only things I use (no PC) so for me this is a nice upgrade. Also I’ve been all digital for a while now so not bothered about the drive. I do have a few UHD Blu-rays but I’ll just sell them along with my OG PS5 to bring the Pro price down a bit. Was thinking about cancelling with Direct and going with Amazon but I’ll leave it as it is. 4 weeks and counting!

Me - went with Very so I can spread the cost 12 months interest free. I've got a 30th anniversary standard coming, 2 x 30th edge controllers, 2 x standard 30th controllers & 30th Portal coming also! My wallet is hurting! :cry:

I'm still nonplussed at the PS Direct preorder scramble, considering now you can just preorder from 1st party suppliers. Am I missing something here or is this a case of bah humbug on my part.

The scramble has only really been for the 30th anniversary PS5 Pro bundle, which I can semi understand for those with a strong sense of nostalgia for the PS1.
