Yeah I was thinking this too. The only hope is that they may opt to subsidise it slightly on the basis that they'll recoup money from VR game sales, but I don't know how realistic a proposition that is these days.

DualSense Edge, the new premium controller for PS5, will be released on January 26 at a $199.99 USD / £209.99 price point.

Pre-orders will open on Tuesday, October 25. You'll also be able to get hold of replaceable stick modules, which will retail at $19.99 USD / £19.99.

More expensive than I thought, a Scuff could be cheaper.

Must have the edge over the original ps5 pad at that price.

Want one but I’d rather buy a Sharq/Scuff/Aim controller for that sort of money, if it was £150 it would be expensive but I’d have had one

Consider ms have just done one for 125, seems expensive. Don't see the point as the uptake is so small nothing will make use of the extra buttons.

Looked into it more it’s a great peice of kit, the fact that the analogue stick boxes can be swapped in theory means you shouldn’t ever need another, it’s still a lot of money to fork out though.

Looks like they just use the Extreme Rate paddles that you can find on the rainforest website for 45 quid.

I have the eXtremeRate 4 button mod added to my controller. They're pretty easy to add if you follow the many YouTube videos on how to install them I use the remapped trigger buttons all the time.
