using a Kandalf LCS

1.51v in cpu-z

will get some prime shots up over the weekend, passes everything without a hitch :)

boots at 3.9+ Ghz but i cba trying and testing for the right volts yet lol
will update in a few days :)

p5k-e does almost 500mhz fsb, 497 to be exact lol

temps??.... who cares :D

Nice clock will it be a 24/7 speed though?

what are your load temps anyway?

i cant get mine over 3.3 gig with 1.45v i have tried increasing the voltage up to 1.6 in the bios but still no joy.could it be a limitation of the p5b deluxe board or a psu issue(tagan 700w) temps are around 40 idle rising to 65 under full load so not as high as others are getting.
im also running a gtx and 3 hard drives and 3x120 mm fans

Currently priming @3.4GHz with a 1.5v in the bios, I think you get a lot more vcore drop with these quads!

Christ these things do run hot, even under water. My temps on full load seem to be about 67c

I take it this is normal though from what I can gather?

My QX6700 ran 70c full load at 3.6ghz

I'm trying to source a G0 though and will hopefully be told tomo if the chip I want is in the batch.

p5b is ment to be a good board for this

gave me 475fsb with the qx6700
~3.7Ghz clock on water

could it be the psu? i have noticed there is some serious vdroop with the board 1.6v is about the max voltage?.i think i need to set my voltage to around 1.65 it drops that much.its a bit strange that i cant get it stable past 3.3 with 1.45v and it doesnt seem to respond to extra volts

Thought you was not bothered about the G0 stepping? :D

TBH I'm not but 105w against 95w might make a difference.

3.6ghz is my aim.

24/7

Plus some big batches have hit the UK.

Cannot clarify stepping though

Of course if you can get 3.6ghz stable under 70c full load then either way is good,

That's true I suppose, time will tell. Knowing me I will probably buy a G0 stepping quad as well. :D

Mine have been running Prime for 12 hrs, Core Temp show 2 x 66C and 2 x 70C under full load, with FSB at 335, V-Core at 1.213, this is on air. Are the temp OK?

How do I upload pics?
