Mine have been running Prime for 12 hrs, Core Temp show 2 x 66C and 2 x 70C under full load, with FSB at 335, V-Core at 1.213, this is on air. Are the temp OK?

How do I upload pics?

Temps look fine, you can't upload pics directly to the forum you have to host them or use any number of free image hosting co's and then use the
tags to post pics.

using a Kandalf LCS

1.51v in cpu-z

will get some prime shots up over the weekend, passes everything without a hitch :)

boots at 3.9+ Ghz but i cba trying and testing for the right volts yet lol
will update in a few days :)

p5k-e does almost 500mhz fsb, 497 to be exact lol

temps??.... who cares :D

I want to know what your temps are on full load?

Please dont just say 'hot' either! :p

*slightly off topic*
Is it possible that G0 stepping could be worse at overclocking? It was only a theory and I can't remember where I read it? But it went along the lines of intel deliberately making the new G0 stepping harder to overclock and also something about the silicon being of a lesser quality... It is probably just bs but would like to know if there is any truth in it...

over on XS G0's have been hitting 3.9ghz on water :p

If I can get to 3.2ghz on a thermalright120 extreme with respectable load temps (around 65c would be great) then i'll be a happy bunny :P

3.2ghz would be easy on good air I would have thought.

Ideally though these chips need water for 3.6ghz + speeds.

Here is my little beauty. Isn't the new stepping, but hopefully still be good overclocker.

Going to run 3DMark01, 03 and 05 at different speeds and will post results.

OK made the wife go and pick it up from citylink depot :D

Going to build tonight.. see what one of these beauties will do in a mATX setup  :)

Heh, depends how extreme you wanna go. I'll be happy with 3.0 and exstatic with 3.2 :)

If it all goes horribly wrong I can always swap the CPU's into my P965_DS3 in my tower.

yeah mate.

good luck looking forward to your findings

:)

Currently sat at 3.0 with 1.40 volts set in BIOS. 3DMark results arent amazing compared to stock due to X1900 XTX being the bottleneck now.. only one way of solving that ;)

More tomorrow..

b3 stepping on air here, 1.35v 3.2 ghz overclock prime 95 stable....

So not too bad ;)

Ill be getting my mates G0 later this week and hes basically said we can swap cpus if his overclocks more since he has no interest in running past stock speeds :)

So fingers crossed his breaks 3.4!
