Anyone signing up to the OneUi 3 Android 11 Beta when it comes to the UK?
I think so, can just use browser for my banking I guess.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure it's for unlocked phones. Is the UK getting the OneUi 3 beta?

Camera can take some amazing pictures, as always with Samsung it still smoothes faces with all beauty settings turned off, when will then learn? Been comparing against my 11 Pro Max and there are pros and cons of each camera wise, Apple has a slight edge quality and consistency wise but ultra wide shots can be stunning on the ultra.
I believe it does for the 5G version and the Exynos for the 4G version .Doesn't the FE already have a SD chip? or is it because you want other Ultra features, what is lacking in the FE? Just asking as I was thinking of picking one up.
Google has now forbidden face smoothing in Android! The next version of OneUI will have it disabled.
Having read your review of the HK phone I am now vaguely interested in sending back my S20 FE and importing instead. Wonda mobile now have the 20U for £879. I think my main worry would be resale, since I doubt any recycler would take an import and I don't want to use eBay.

Just wanted to provide an update on my experience with the Snapdragon HK note 20 Ultra, really glad I imported at this stage as I haven’t encountered any of the overheating or battery drain I had with my s20+ Exynos.
5 days in and the battery is optimised and I’m currently on 7 hours of screen on time with 14% battery left, have it set to 120hz and haven’t bothered using adb to disable any packages. This is general usage as I don’t play a lot of games, with my s20+ I had to tune and disable apps and packages and would struggle to get 4.5 hours with the same battery size and smaller display.
performance is brilliant, google pay works as expected and haven’t noticed any limitations of using the HK model, experience is the same as the UK models I have always purchased.

What is interesting is I haven’t had the October update yet.
Was going to get a 12 Pro max in Nov but doubt I will bother as this is a fantastic phone, this rectifies most of the issues I had with the Note 10+ mainly around battery and camera.
My 11 Pro Max has better battery as reviews always point out, what they fail to mention is the fact it runs at 60hz, doesn’t have AoD and doesn’t do true multi tasking.
Highly recommend using SmartLauncher, really enhances the experience over the default.
Thanks for the update -
What about 5G - Does SD get 5G on UK networks?
If you get the phone from the right country, I think HK covers all the bands.
I know the reviews on the site say VoLTE doesn’t work but I read that it actually does.
