Great move, I'm sure you will love it.

Had mine now for a week are really happy with the purchase, battery life has been brilliant for me. Currentlly have 63% battery left with 3.35 of SOT. This really is a big improvement on my S20+ with Exynos which would also have awful standby time.

I loved the Note 10+ but the camera was a real let down, form factor and size is great and went to play with my iPhone Pro Max earlier and it felt dated and old in comparison due to lack of 120 hz, lack of customisation etc. Don't get me wrong the 11 Pro max is a very very good phone but it's to locked down for me.


Camera wise happy with the Note 20+, it's great for general scenary etc but the Iphone trumps it on taking photos of people but this is still good, I do however feel the S20+ with the Sony sensor is better then this 108mp sensor Samsung use.

Overall, this is as close to perfect as it gets for me with a Mobile with the SD version, highly recommend using Smart Launcher for customisation.

Blimey, I have just got down to 10% battery left with 3h 39mins SOT. Exynos version. Hoping it gets better but fear it won't.

There is a discussion topic on XDA on it with people with the HK version, overall it's a minor thing compared to battery life and performance for me.

Also, for anyone that uses Samsung Pay it won't work as it's region locked, Google Pay which is what I have ways used works fine without any issues.

That sounds similar to my experience with the S20+ Exynos, still early days but if this carries on the difference is shocking and understand all the complaints.

Now at 5h 41 SOT with 38% battery left, I don't tend to play games so this could also be why. Ultimately, we all have difference usage patterns but all the reviews appear to point to a clear advantage this time for the SD version

Slightly different but my HK S20+ was imported, it was the Taiwanese model with a CSC of BRI, i changed this to TGY (HK) using Samkey and VoLTE and Wifi calling worked fine on Vodafone. Also the built in Spam ID feature is working too.

And also i managed to get my Starling Bank card added to Samsung Pay, the app it self is in English with some Chinese popups but the card added fine, Ive yet to test it in a shop though,

Had this one at the end of last week, I think the battery life has improved a little, I'm still waiting for the One Ui 3.0 Android 11 beta to come to the UK, we're way behind other countries just now.

How long did your Note 20 Ultra take to arrive from ordering? I take it you got yours from Wonda?

Are you getting regular updates like the Exynos does?

Hi,

Think mine took around 8 days end to end, really pleased with it so far and battery life is good for me, done some tweaks to put a lot of apps in Deepsleep etc.

Update wise the jury is out, I'm still on the SEP patch which is disappointing, not sure why Samsung has this issue. My S20+ was rapid on the updates, hoping to get an update in the next few days...

Mine was despatched Thursday last week. So hopefully I'll get it Friday. Did yours come with Royal mail & how long after despatch could you track it?
 
Well I would have had the phone on Tuesday but Wonda put the wrong postcode on the parcel. So now it's doing a tour of West Yorkshire & I cannot do anything about it but watch.

Maybe tomorrow. Getting in touch with the Post Office via telephone is virtually impossible. I know we have a covid situation but they are impossible.

That's a real shame and sorry to hear this, typical ..

Before ordering I checked a the reviews and they appeared very positive, my own experience was very positive so guess you've been the recipient of bad luck.

Still loving this and battery life is great, appears to be lagging behind on updates from a patch level. Anyone got November patch yet? I'm still on Sep
