I don't have 5G near me on 3 So unable to test , likewise for Vodafone . I've heard on XDA people on Vodafone and other networks getting 5g in the UK.

Do you get it on your Exynos for Vodafone where you are testing?

Battery life is very good, camera is good but definitely has issues with people compared to the Pixel or 11 Pro max. Even with beauty modes turn off Samsung make a hash of skin tones and face smoothing.
 
After owning the SD version now for over two weeks , must say overall I'm very happy.

Battery life is constantly 7+ hours SOT and haven't once felt the need to charge it during the day, evening. I've not once had any overheating of the phone of throttling. This is in stark contrast to the S20+ Exynos I had.

Only really annoying thing for me is the slowness of receiving updates on the HK version .

Really does make my iPhone 11 Pro max feel dated
 
I've had the Snapdragon Note 20 ultra for 10 days now & here are my thoughts so far, with my usage -

I don't game & I don't facebook.

I usually do 1 HR watching movies - 45 min streaming Radio & 45 min with Poweramp.

Twitter at varies times through the day & sync is on all day & Bluetooth on at least 12 hrs a day.

So far the SD hasn't missed a beat. The SD just feels snappier & more responsive & a better device to use then the Exynos.

I have to say & I cannot lie, the battery on the SD is way way way better than the Exynos.

I can get a day & half out of the SD & I got about a 3/4 of a day from the Exynos.

I have found the Fingerprint scanner slightly quicker on the SD device.

So I have both devices & will now be trying to sell the Exynos device.

The SD just got an update & the 5G problem has now been fixed, the SD 20 Ultra is almost the complete package.

2 Negatives though - No Samsung UK Warranty, that is a bummer, I have to admit. Hopefully I won't need any repairs.

And, this is my gripe, No Gothic Bold Font installed.

If your OK with the No Samsung UK Warranty then get the SD 20 Ultra is better then the Exynos device, it is for my usage anyhow.


Quick shout out to sw2000 for his honest remarks about the SD & the confidence of purchasing it.

Does VoLTE work on the SD model in the UK? I’ve read conflicting reports - thank you.

As I have never done this, how is it done. VoLTE is turned on on my phone.
