Ah ok. I use wifi calling a fair bit so will sit it out until the official one comes.

Have you flashed yet Cosimo ...I'm just backing up to PC and Ext SD with smart switch just in case

Flashed without any issues. Not had time to look around but facial recognition is now fast and it seems a tad quicker than before.

OK to Oreo for the N8 came out almost at the end of Q1 but it cold be many more months before people actually receive it. I think I will wait and see how Cosimo gets on with the flashed version first.

Ok I have caved and decided to do it but Samfirm is timing out when I am trying to download it.

Is there another place I can download the firmware from? The Sammobile link on XDA is 15KB/s for a 4GB file

LED view cover now works with DeX and all looking good so far.

OK found a problem .. unread notification badges on app icons are not showing .. as in emails 4 .. texts 3 etc .. turned on and off in settings and rebooted but still not luck ..

I don't seem to be able to flash via odin.

It starts then shuts down & restarts phone after 2 seconds.

Which odin are you using ? you need latest v3.13.1 for oreo

Ok fixed it.. turned it off rebooted... turned it on didnt work rebooted again flicked on then off and it worked ... i was so close to resetting lol
