****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

Nope it's not an idea but a fault heh, the slope is only on one side so serves no fundamental purpose at all! It can only be a design or manufacture flaw. The lip should be the same size on both sides like on the official case.

Can't say I'm fussed enough to spend any more money on a case though, wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for this thread :p

Even if it's AC some cheapo ones are only seen as USB. This comes with a USB cable only so you use your own charger :p

There's no link for it any more, not until GMarket get them back on their system!

cool

ordered

How quickly did you get them?

Are they cut correctly? Do they fit over the holes etc..?

Pretty quick and I live abroad, so yours should be there pretty fast. It lines up around 98% i'd say... just ever so slightly off by the home button, and at the top near the forward camera. However functionality is not affected in any way, it's purely aesthetic.

Well the Martin Fields has arrived, 10/10 for delivery speed.

The product, not so good sadly. It is clear as crystal, no lie there and the camera protector is an excellent addition which i am pleased to have.

The issue lies with the fact that this screen protector costs a fair bit more than others and because of that i would expect performance that's a fair bit better which sadly isn't the case. Applying it was... easier than my £5 one, but not as fool proof as reviews and their website claim; i had to reapply three times to get rid of all bubbles.

After that i noticed that pulling the protector off with scotch tape (as advised by the instructions supplied) caused a permanent 'crease' in the protector, which causes a half moon shaped bubble about 2mm long and 1/2mm thick. This is due to the crease pulling the protector away from the screen at that point and after several reapplications remains the same.

Shame really, as the picture clarity is FAR better than the £5 MFX one, i was just hoping for something more durable.

9/10 if price isn't taken into consideration

7/10 if it is, it's just too expensive for what it is.

Picked up a Case-Mate Tough today. Nearly got away with paying £10 for it but honest me can't keep my mouth shut :o and paid the full £25, from CPW.

The screen has the Brando Ultra Clear applied, last two images show outdoor reflection with screen on and off. I also ordered the Brando Anti-Glare which was my first choice. The Ultra Clear was for practice but it went on first time with no trapped dust or bubbles and is such a prefect fit you can't even tell it's there. People I've shown it to don't believe the screen has a protector and even the sales guy in CPW tried to sell me a SP after having a look at my phone.

Click on the images for full size pics.

I think you can see it in the second picture Khaaan.

I took some pictures on a dusty TV bench before I moved it to a cleaner surface with better light. Didn't have time to give the case another clean.

However the hard plastic shell pushes the inner silicon layer very tight along the left and right edges and I don't think much dust will get through there. The hard shell doesn't cover the top and bottom edges though and here the case is just like any soft silicone case, this is where the dust will get in. When you hold the phone, even in landscape, you don't notice/feel the top and bottom edges are softer or lose.

I've used the phone for less than 20 mins with the case on and so far I like it, will need to use it for a few days though.

I need something tough because when at home my 1 yr old wants it all the time to watch cbeebies (iplayer app) when he can't get on the ipad or TV.

You let a 1 year old play with an expensive smartphone? Seriously?
