Dashboard disks.
Mine has been on for 2 years and they use similar pads to those double sided sticky pads. Just use care when removing and use ambersil residue remover to get rid of any excess. These may not be advised to all leather or low quality dashboards though as removing it may leave the surface stretched. All plastic or all matte (BMW) should be fine.

the easiest way to remove those pads is slide some thread/fishing line under the edge and "saw" through the sticky bit

how much thicker is the tough case to the official mesh one? it fits the mesh one fine with little room spare. i can't see how a dock is going to help stop your phone being chewed

I already have the dock coming. The case is to stop the little lad chewing the side of the phone like he has with my omnia.

Just got my Genuine Samsung Extended Battery Kit for Galaxy S2 - 2000mAh - EB-K1A2EBEGSTD. Ordered from a fellow XDA member. Still doing some testing on battery life! So far im impressed as the battery + back cover only adds around 1mm of thickness

Is there any calibration needed to be done on a new battery or do I just use it normally?
Do a few full cycles to get it calibrated i.e full-empty-full-empty.

Just let it die. The inbuilt software will re calibrate itself once it's fully drained and charged to 100%. You can do it twice to make yourself happy
