Modern batteries don't really need to be fully charged before first turning on, when I got my SGS2 I just plugged it in and turned it on straight away (eg charging but still on and being used), no way I'd have the patience to wait 14 hours

Get it on and mess just leave it plugged in charger as said, I have never waited for a phone to charge always play while its charging.

O2 Head Office are claiming that they have had no stock at all... so are basically saying that customers cannot have had it dispatched.

O2 are naffing me off at bit, they're still sending out contract phones, even those just ordered yesterday, but PAYG have to wait and from a post I just saw on XDA could be towards the end of the week as there's a backlog.

ok when you click the link in the o2 site that tracks your order, make sure you put your consignment number in the ident code box and not the consignment box(which i was doing)...mine is out for delivery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O2 lost my upgrade deal that I did on Friday so have just re-ordered for delivery tomorrow!

12 month contract @ £52/month for 1200mins/unlim texts and 500 data and I keep my O2 Gold tier status

That or they are saying they never had any PAYG phones in stock, which is worse. Its the sheer fact they have lifted the money our of my account.

I went for one of those below its pretty tough which is what I wanted and cheap enough, has a screen cover with it which is a good one, will do the job for now, I know its got gorrila glass but there are plenty of horror stories I have read about it,
