****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Aye same, I don't mind about ROMs with this kind of internal storage so no messing needed. Just root for backups :D

There's no need to remove guff like HTC bundled apps too which is nice.

I'll put stock Android on there when it's out of course but until then...

Cheers ill take a careful read of that, from what ive read so far then I take it their wont be any custom ROMS about for a few weeks anyways right?

Custom Kernels starting to pop up on XDA now, give it a week or two and we will probably start seeing some quality ROM's popping up once more people have hold of the phone instead of dev's relying on other people to test stuff for them, can't wait!

When are you getting yours then squire? :p

As soon as possible :p Just put in a cheque to the bank and waiting for my cousin to secure me a free handset but if that falls through I will just have to buy one I guess!

Will nip down to CPW at lunch to find out more info on the latter if it comes to that.

Any decent car holders available, should I get a generic one or a device specific one?

Build one yourself, much better :) See my Desire dash mount thread!

gak!

the tracking number shows as being delivered to my local depot at 4:55 this morning, but its still showing as that so I assume it hasnt gone out for delivery today (when I'm at home) and will no doubt go out tomorrow (when I'm not!)

Very tempted to get this as a replacement for my hero. Currently paying £30 a month with T-Mobile for 600mins, Unlimited Texts & Data. My new house gives me no signal at all with T-Mob yet Vodafone and O2 are both really strong. Anyone know much about the latter two's data plan restrictions? I use my phone quite a bit for work and don't really want to be shelling out a fair bit more on my contract :(.
