100% usual thing of having to register etc, then relog in add to basket, taken to a pay site, redirected back to a confirmation, couple of emails to say payment is taken on shipping, LOADS od delivery options. I just used the language selection in the preferences on the left of the page.
 
Just a note about ExportPrive.
While they are a legit site, in so far as they will send out the goods, if something goes wrong with the order they're a nightmare to get hold of.

I had a bad experience with them a few months ago where they sent me the incorrect leather SGS1 case.
3 months later, despite promises, they still hadn't refunded me.
I had to contact my CC provider to claim the funds back in the end.

Agreed on O2's poor service with regards to orders online (no email confirmation & no sign of orders within accounts until they've actually dispatched).

However, for the DHL tracking, you just need to enter your tracking number as 'Ident Code' rather than 'Consignment Number' (despite what O2 call it).

thats okay speed - which network are you with?

i get around 1500kbps dl and 500kbps ul with t-mobile in n.london.
 
Come on guys please get some case porn pics up on, and if possible buy some leather cases and test them out... I want to know what ot buy in preparation for recieving mine. :p

Just did some research on thew battery full beep issue and im somewhat disgusted to read that the problem was present on the Galay S, and that the beep is unable ot be turned off without root access and then installing a ROM that has been theoretically modded to disable the beep... which is apparently not easy even for the modders.

I ALWAYS charge overnight, so if im goin got be woken up at 3am by a ****ing beep then there WILL be much throwing out of dummies form prams.

However, an obvious temporary solution is to use a program like Locale and set it so that the phone is on silent between a time period of lets say 12am and 6am, when the phone has likely reached full charge after a days use. This will stop you getting woken up by a beep.
 
Been with T Mobile for 4 or 5 years / contract finishes in a week or so. Want to stay with them / keep same number / want SG2/ current phone is HD2.

Is it better to go via T Mobile retentions or third party via their upgrades, which gets the better deal?

its a tough one, you miss out on cash back, you need to forget loyalty and cost up the best deal for you,

factor in,

keeping the same number
signal in the main area you live
customer service
price
length of contract
contract addons

you should look on hot deals uk, then call retentions and say you wanna leave if they cant match the best you found
 
Holy crap...was up last night ordering that case at about 2 in the morning, phone on charge...100%...took it off charge and placed in work bag, up and leaving for work at 8.20 this morning.....66%!...seriously!?...what the hell was it doing!

Can now upgrade with O2, and want to keep my same number so was planning on staying with O2. Can this tariff be bettered much?

O2 100 18months - 100mins / 500txts / 500MB net - £26.50/month, £105 handset

I'll only occasionally go over 100mins/month so dont think it'd be worth paying more every month for that. I was about to upgrade via the O2 website. Is it possible to get cashback doing this?
