OK, so I tried to order and after the Secured by Visa screen it said the transaction was unsuccessful. What should I do now? The fact I am using Chrome anything to do with it or do I just try a second time? Very frustrating.
for less than £100 - Orange San Francisco has a much better screen and resolution and great modding community to make the phone even better.

I think the Orange San Francisco is still considered the best Android phone for that price point. If you replace the firmware with custom it's a pretty damn good phone for £100.
the arrows will flash if the mobile data connection is actually being used - when using the web browser/youtube and when apps are syncing for example.
Download 'speedtest' app to see what 3g/H speeds you are getting - 1Mbps+ should stream ok.
And no GPS would be better left off unless you really need it for example navigation.
