Try a different channel?
I read somewhere that a high channel can give problems

Hmm not sure how that would be true ^^

You could download a wifi channel scanner... scan your area, and make sure you choose a channel that is 4/5 channels away from everyone else to stop interference.

I.e. if your neighbours are on channel 4, switch to 11. I had to do this with my wireless dongle to stop it from cutting out when it was switching channels so might help you?

Dutch Guy... I'm jealous. I came to Amsterdam for my bday last month for the 1st time..... Think im going to move :D

So I've still got the S2 been touch and go whether it got traded for an iPhone 4 but after some messing and getting a decent 32GB MicroSD I've decided to keep it.

I remember many pages ago somebody asked about sync'ing music and keeping playlists, well I now use Tunesync for my Mac (its available for the PC as well) which syncs wirelessly or over the air playlists from within iTunes and builds a matching playlist on the phone. Costs about £3 but its the best £3 I've spent as it makes the phone now usable as an MP3 player for me. The playlists, coverart etc all turn up fine in WinAmp and the phone can sync wirelessly

I still don't get this whole fascination with syncing playlists (iphone/ipod style).... I much prefer the way android does it, simply just drag and drop mp3s as though onto a memory stick...

Anyone got a memory card for the phone yet?

Been looking at the Lexar 32GB Micro SDHD class 10

Will I have a problem with anything running not as quick as it does now if its stored on the memory card? I.e. anything that HAS to be installed to the phone itself?

I've just bought a 32GB Sandisk Class 4 card from an online store for £45 works perfectly

Some of us have more than 1 device to manage and want a sensible way of keeping music in sync. I've got an iPad and 2 x iPods (wifes and one in the car) and I run OSX, all my music is nicely stored in iTunes. With tunesync I drag files on want on the S2 to one of a number of playlists and it syncs over, I remove stuff and its removed, not exactly hard...

I can get the one I mentioned for £44 delivered so may as well go for the higher class :)

Just wondered if there was anything that had to be run off the phone? Dont want to buy a 32GB card and find I cant use it for games etc? I read widgets were supposed to be installed to the phone itself but that was about it.

I suppose that's the problem with a multitude of apple devices you are kinda tied in to their way of doing things... Guess really it's a case of not really getting why itunes is needed? My mrs has an iphone and i never understood why u have to use itunes to put music on there and why I can't simply manage the files directly... (even if u need playlists, simply use m3u's or similar)..

Just a quick question and I don't expect there is an app out for this yet, but is there anyway to control an android tablet (Asus Transformer) using my new SGS2? It would be awesome to connect up the tablet to the TV and then sit back and run a video but have the play, stop etc functions on the phone.

If someone made an app like that I would definitely buy it!!!

Anyone found the easter egg yet? :D

Go to settings > about phone > and tap 5 times (quickish) on "android version" and you'll be greeted with a secret pic ;)

Edit: On another note, can anyone tell me why my widgets have stopped updating automatically? I.e. yahoo finance, news widget, weather widget... I have background data enabled in accounts and sync so not sure what else it could be :/

Love the easter egg thing :) nice find

Just wandering if theres any way to have the date permanently displayed like when you have the notifications pull down shown as below:
gs2%20stat.jpg

As soon as you dismiss the notifications screen the date disappears but there must be a way to have it permanently displayed?
Also - anyone know of a replacement battery icon which shows %?

As to be expected this had no effect. Looks like a hard reset is the only option to rule out any software conflicts. Can someone remind me how to do this?
