****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Jersey based company have now changed their release date to the 3rd of May...not amused.

WAs the offical release date 27th?...why is it proving so hard to get this phone on its release date?

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is now available on preorder from mobile phone retailer Phones4U and will be exclusively available on Orange. The retailer has also confirmed that the delivery date for online orders is the 27th of April, four days before it goes on sale.

I should get a confirmation today at some point.

I'm going to ring them at lunch time with my reference number for an update too, I'll report back on what they say.

Phones4u got some crap deals for this phone

I got a "free" unit, 700 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb interweb and a free 8GB sd card for £40 p/m on 18 months, why is that crap? It's pretty much comparable with other vendors. For example the CPW only offer two 18 month, free phone contracts and they are over £60 p/m!! Mobiles.co.uk, don't offer an 18 month contract on a free unit (on Orange) and want £40 a month for T-mobile which is the same as what I'm paying.

This is a top of the range phone, you aint going to get it for £20 a month and no up front fee.
