Have just spoken to P4U at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol and they have stock arriving at the moment. But they don't think they can sell it today. Looks like I will be popping down there tomorrow to get one.

Also web site back up and the S2 is now for sale again. Does anyone now if the tariffs on the web site will be the same as offered in store e.g. £5 off some orange tariffs or are they On-line only?

Just spoke a guy at Phones4U who told me they are getting the phone tomorrow and will 'probably' dispatch it to me then.

Although he didn't sound 100% sure and sounded like he was making a best guess based on what his screen was saying.
 
I just spoke to P4U about upgarding my Orange contract and they gave me a deal that is nothing like the web ones, only problem is for upgrades they are using different stock apparently so 7-10 days for delivery.
 
ive got this ordered with buy mobiles on t-mobile, does anyone know how many days u normally get a phone for before you can send it back?

its just that i have been phoning tmobile since 13th april which was when i could cancel my contract, they now say they are getting it in may and it looks like i would get the handset for free on the same contract.

i cant be bothered transferring my pac code away to transfer back so would just take a change of number if i had to but wanted to keep my order with buy mobiles and see how long it took tmob to get their hands on the phone.

if it is the end of may i would keep the buy mobiles contract but if its earlier, just wanted to make sure i could send it back to buymobiles.

how much hassle is it to send a phone back and would you recommend sending back special delivery? would you suggest i just cancel my order with buy mobiles? decisions decisions.....:confused:
 
Streeteh, its just that Vodafone deal that isn't working, I've just tried (and placed) the order with Orange and it went through fine.

I think I'll leave it in and see what happens... :p :D

the guy there said that they are *expecting* it to be released on the 2nd May, but aparently Samsung have changed their minds several times, so he advised me to call back later in the week or the beginning of next week to verify.

A better deal or worse than the web ones because i want this phone on a orange upgrade but when i rang orange they said end of may.
