****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Can't see my orders on my screen?

Blooming heck £399 now that's a good price and probably more like what it should have been priced at in the first place.

Also, just been into P4U store and had a play with one belonging to a staff member. Although it feels solid, it still feels a bit cheap and there is just no weight to it. I must say it is very slick though and I do like the screen compared to my Desire, still a bit too colourful to be natural however. :)

Ok found something that annoys me!

I can't seem to figure out how to get it to play back albums in track order. It seems to insist on listing and playing everything back in alphabetical order by track name.

My tracks are all id tagged and have track numbers in the file name, it just seems to ignore them!

Am i being stupid or is there a way to make it play tracks in track number order?

[EDIT] Sound quality is a dream i must add (again this is in comparison to my old blackberry so hardly a surprise it's better). Plays back my Flac files flawlessly and still runs smooth as silk while playing.

Yes, we have the 1.2Ghz Exynos, it says 1.2Ghz on the box which is a give-away as the other version is 1Ghz :p

/facepalm

I'll just ask the woman on live chat for you, I've got one open now.

Yep, she said they will unlock it immediately for £10. Good stuff!

I just spoke to someone online at 02. They confirmed it was in stock, but might take 3-5 days to be delivered.
Also they said this about unlocking:
For a charge of £15, we'll give you an unlocking code but only after the Samsung phone has been used on our network for 12 months:mad:

Is this right or are there other places to get the phone unlocked?

Well that goes without saying, Royal ****ing wedding day tomorrow, Weekend, bank holiday Monday, then Tuesday/Wednesday for deliveries.

There will be plenty of other places to get it unlocked, strange they are saying different things though but not a surprise.

For Pay Monthly and Pay & Go customers

If you're a Pay Monthly customer then you can request for your handset to be unlocked at any time, free of charge. The only exception are handsets which are exclusive to O2 such as the Palm which remain locked to the O2 network as we want our customers to have the very best Smartphone experience.

Don't forget that you'll still need to honour the remainder of the minimum term of your contract even if you place a non-O2 sim into your phone.

If you're a Pay & Go customer, your O2 mobile can be unlocked 12 months after purchase for a one-off £15 fee which we'll deduct from your airtime balance.

Feel like i'm talking to myself here :p

Flac tags don't seem to be read properly, foobar and winamp are happy with them, but the S2 doesn't seem to recognise the track number, hence why it's ordering them by track name

Anyone experienced this yet?

Still, it can be resolved by a third party unlock if O2 are awkward/useless.
