****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Yea gone with haxsync, still not the best quality but better than a complete blurry mess.

I just started using it again after you posted, seems better than when I first used it :)

Just can't figure out if you can individually link someone through haxsync when it doesn't recognize a name match.

Gents, what alternatives are there to Kies to Sync the SGS2 to outlook, Im running Hydrogenics, and its pretty good, but it doesnt bleeding well sync with Kies. My phone is my work tool so i need to be able to sync my calender to outlook.

Any ideas?

I know I can't download a vcard from messaging using Wanamlite 10.5 so I fear its probably the same problem.

Also having the same problem here. Someone has sent me a mms and it's just frozen my whole phone. Big issue for me this so it looks like I'll be faffing around again tomorrow with another rom :/

Is it just me, or is the new Play Store app rubbish at letting you find your purchased apps on the phone? Previously you could go to My Apps and you'd see everything you had installed, then a list of your purchased apps that were not installed.

Now when you go to My Apps, you get a screen showing what you've got installed, then another showing every installed app and every free and paid you've ever had installed. Seeing as I've had several hundred apps installed at various points over the past couple of years, it makes it almost impossible to look at my non-installed purchased items on the phone.

Additionally, they're not listed alphabetically and when you view one of the entries and come back out, you're put back at the top of the list so you have to try and find where you were previously.

Am I missing something here? Is there some setting I'm missing or have Google majorly downgraded the app?

edit - just noticed its exactly the same with the Play website as well, it shows EVERYTHING you've ever had installed, both free and paid, in no particular order. How the hell can I review only apps I've purchased?

You're not missing anything. It is indeed very poor from Google. I had to re-install all my paid for apps recently and it was a bit of a pain...

Navigation > 3 bars on the bottom right > routes & alternatives > click 2 cogs > Avoid toll.

Hope that helps.

I agree with the My apps bit too very poor, Hope there is an update for it soon such a pain to get through now.

Just flashed back to checkrom for navigon so will restore my backup of HydrogenICS and try that, thanks

I just noticed my phone is giving the red spot problem on the camera.

If I remember correctly, someone here also had this problem. Does anyone know how to fix it? It happens in all my camera apps.

I have this problem too. Any fixes?

I am late to the party.

Where can I get a guide and the files to update my Galaxy S 2 to ICS?

It is currently unbranded I think and on O2.

Download links for the latest files would be awesome.

Thanks

Just flashed to Hydrogen again.

It's much better, but I find the scrolling to be a bit unresponsive. No where near as good as on my stock 2.3.4.

Has anyone else found this to be the case?

Anyone know of a working link for ICS Domination 4.1 ? Ive been trying to get it off Vertumus World for a few days and no joy.

*edit* sorted it.

*edit 2* Installed Neat Rom (XWLP4) with Domination 4.1 theme. Reinstalled apps and im happy. Phone seems a lot smoother with this rom than with previous rom's, ie Wanam, Litening.

I've sold my wifes Galaxy S2 without the extended battery so now I need to get rid of that. Does anyone with a white S2 want to buy the official Samsung S2 extended battery with back cover?
