My SII is rinning kind of slow so I would like to do a factory reset. The thing I want to know is how can I save all my Settings, Data & Apps and then restore them after the reset so basically it will be the same as it is now.

I want to do this so I don't hav to reinstall all my apps and loose all saved data in my games.

Also where is the cheapest place to get a new battery for the SII

sms back up + titanium backup should do the trick for apps/texts/data/saves

not sure about calls - never bothered to back them up

amazon at a guess and if you want a new battery and don't mind the extra bulk just get the extended one its like 17quid now!

afaik the free version will do it - but restoring apps will take longer since you will have to manually click "next/close" when the app is installing/done installing

and yes you need ROOT

not sure tbh, always had ROOT access :/ but i guess you won't be able to get all your data without ROOT access.. texts/calls yes but app data will need ROOT access

yup no problems at all i would recommend sensation ROM i find it to have the best features - while not a lot of customization it is very stable because of that

I am also really liking paranoid android so far. Although i thought it was odd that although i did a factory reset and cache wipe, it had retained my wireless networks?

As far as I'm aware google syncs them

The Camera is superb IMO. Althrough mines broken now, it seems to be stuck on Macro mode and won't come out if no matter what camrea firmware i flash it.
