I'm confused.

All's I was asking was will it be likely the SGIII will require a down payment on pay monthly unless you get a really expensive tariff.

Generally though I think the S 3 will probably be free for £21-30 per month over 24 months.

If you're buying a phone now, you might want to look at the Xperia S instead of the Galaxy S II.

Those sort of deals were around at launch as well. Those kind of prices are one of the big reasons it sold so well.

I'll stick with the GS2 I think. Had a nightmare with an Xperia phone not to long ago... Constant reboots that affected lots of people and it took a couple of months to get a software release for it.

GS2 should be plenty fast enough for me I think, especially since all's I've used in the past is budget Android phones.

i guess it depends on the final price.. if samsung goes by the amount of s2's sold they will probably be more expensive than the competition and by being more expensive the contract prices may increase too..

Its the daily fail but the speculation specs seems pretty good to me, from previous reading I know that the 1080p screen is not going to happen?

I really can't see it having a 1080p screen or a Quad-core processor. i think it'll be a beefed up S2 with ICS.

S4 will be the next big step to quad and possibly 1080p screen IMO.

March 15th is announced by Samsung israel on the 15th as the date for the GS II's ICS upgrade. Have you seen other news announcing the GSIII's announcement for march 15th? If you look at the Galaxy S and S2, both were anounced in late february for may/june launches.
