I ordered a white one from amazon, was hoping it would dispatch, now says delayed till june 9th, think gonna cancel it, I went to carphone warehouse site and was able to reserve a white one for local pickup , just got text saying i can pick it up now, so gonna head down now and see :) , its birmingham , bull ring, new street, only one that said can reserve for pick up
 
At least one thing is certain, we will see more white versions out on the street than blue. Feeling of uniqueness = Good =)
 
Actually, a lot of people do care, as evidenced by those here even, still waiting for the blue. Of course people will care when they're spending £500 on something.

hehehe :D someone is trying to find reasons why waiting extra is a good thing! white is not an ugly color at all! actually it all depends on design which one suits better in my eyes one x looks better in white and s3 is the same while s2 looks better in black yet i have a white version :D

no, it means that they want a blue version doesn't mean that when a person sees your blue s3 in street he will think "omg this is a more rare(not going to be) colour of s3"
 
Of course people care, otherwise there would only be one colour :rolleyes:

That's not what I meant, at least in context anyway!
As in, see white S3 or any other phone that has multiple colours with one dominent colour seen more commonly and you think "oh, that's phone x again" whereas see a less common colour and you think "oh that's a bit different".

This thread is not representative of the real world. Only phone geeks care about the colour the rest of the world couldn’t give two hoots. You’ll soon become colour bore if you're not careful.
 
So I just got my phone and tab!

On the negative side I only got a wifi 32GB and I'd have preferred a 3G tab but it's free so can't complain!

I also got a free 32GB MicroSD card which wasn't in the preorder package with the tab so that's a bonus.
