Looks like this ink effect on black screen in a dark.room isn't so common then. If so how does warranty work on these 24month contracts. Are phone faults repaired free? Do I have grounds for a replacement?
 
If you can get a picture of it to show the store you got it then it's an easy replacement I'd have thought!

Yup, I'm sure they'll take it but whether it gets fixed I'm not so sure, with this kind of fault manufacturers often don't seem to do much more than chuck it about in a warehouse a bit then return it inadequately packed.
 
Might have already been posted, but the SIII is launching 'outside of europe' with an older 2 core CPU instead of the quad in an effort to keep costs down, apparently the quad was overkill anyway.

what older dual core? the S4 ain't old? some info would be nice.

It's the Snapdragon S4... 2-core, newer architecture, and not too much slower in the grand scheme of things.

The S4 Snapdragon processor is no slouch and has done an awesome job running the One XL. The reason Samsung has gone with the S4 outside of Europe is because of its LTE capabilities.
