***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

It's simpler and uglier though, for all the times you call the blue S3 ugly, you go ahead and use an ugly app? :D

QBright does the same thing, just looks nicer with a few extra features :)

Android really is amazing :p

I've turned off all the visual flare from Samsung, none of this pebble water ripple horse **** and enabled the normal lockscreen and for those missing sliding the notification bar to slide, install QBright from the Play Store and add a shortcut to the lockscreen. Now when you want to change brightness, simply lock the screen, wake the screen and run QBright. really is easy and quick.

Also, nice to have a 5x4 grid that's usable, I need to find a bigger calendar widget though :D

Going to check that app out as well as the one kona suggested :)

APW widgets is pretty good, lots of skins and plenty of features/choice. Still prefer the go calendar widget though.

The widget doesn't support scaling when resized unfortunately!

This phone is so fast at Web browsing it's unbelievable.

Ah right!

Quite like qbright, unsure though whether to keep it or just stick with the switch pro version.....

If you think web browsing is fast with stock browser, give ICS browser+ or ICS quick browser ago ;) :p

Me? Nah, I just use my status bar brightness slider, by far the most elegant solution :p

I've always used ICS Browser+ :-)

Boat has also always been installed yeah but since ICS I've cycled between Quick and ICS+

Looks like I'll have to send my S3 back to T-Mobile, as the camera quality is abnormally rubbish. Every shot is grainy/blurry.

I hope that T-Mobile replace the phone, rather than making me endure their awful repair service, especially when the phone is only 8 days old.

Here are some quick point and shoot shots I took with the S3:

I have uploaded them to Photobucket straight of the S3 - it's probably been compressed a little bit and some funky auto resizing going on:

Which browser do you use? N does anyone have this tap to top working on their phone? Doesnt seem to work on mine, have enabled it in the settings. Or does it not work on webpages?

It's probably been already mentioned here but if you're not into Touchwiz (although it's much improved from its last iteration) Nova Launcher runs well on the S3 plus you get the stock ics look.
