Yeah was away in Europe so missed all these websites getting some.

Don't want to order from somewhere showing OOS as I could end up being stuck with an order and waiting weeks when they are available elsewhere.
 
In terms of launchers, I've settled on Apex. First venture into the diffrerent launchers and found this one to be the nicest out of the lot. Also downloaded some HD icons so was busy getting my geek on yesterday getting all that sorted.

Also got a load of emulators on there now - surprisingly I've been using the GBA one the most.

Really enjoying my Android experience so far - even the missus is a little jealous at the stuff I can now do on my phone.
 
Seems my S3 might have sorted itself out with the hard reset yesterday, after leaving the phone off charge last night it did not switch itself off or drop the 30% + of battery it had the two nights previous, still running the better battery stats app incase it decides to throw a wobbler again and ill be able to post the screenshots.

Going to give it a few days just to make sure all is well then root the S3 see what its all about as I have never done it before.
 
My GTA3 control buttons are in the middle of the screen as if it thinks the screen res is 800x480 still, maybe this is because I had the HD textures mod installed from on the S2, will check this!
 
Not disabling, just turning off the home button delay by turning off touble tap home button for s-voice in s-voice settings. Then you can just launch it from the app drawer like normal and the home button double click does nothing while a single press goes home instantly.


In GTA3 changing the slider didn't fix it, will reinstall I guess.
 
Sorry for the slow update, yes in complete darkness with a black image I have 3 small blotches on my screen. I don't think I would notice it in normal use because I'm unlikely to ever have an image that is just black on the screen.
 
nothing for me yet - will pop down my local vodafone store later on and see if they have any info as that is where it will be delivered to - patience is a virtue that I have run out of now!
 
Hi all,

Having only ever own iphones I am now looking to make the switch to the S3. I just wanted to ask how the apps compare to apple? I don't really use a lot of apps on my phone apart from the occasional games.

Also, all my music has been purchased through itunes. Will I be able to put this music on the S3? Also, will I still be able to use the headphones I bought for my iphone with the S3?

Hmm, just found out my carrier has the SIII on contract.

£270 outlay and the £3 extra month compared to what I pay now for a SIM Free contract.

Might have to go handle one :o
