***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Ive just ran the FW update and gone from GDFD06 to GDFE01,so i assume thats updated to a new version

Something about a camera firmware update someone posted on xda, someone decipher it for me I'm being lazy :p http://www.androidnext.de/news/samsung-galaxy-s3-kamera-firmware-update/

edit: seems like some people can update their camera firmware from a certain version...

interesting thanks for posting - just downloaded the update and rebooted phone (had no idea you could upgrade firmware via that method!!). off to see if it makes any difference

And it didn't. still grainy and thoroughly underwhelming :( Guess I'll be calling mobiles in the morning...

It's gonna get busy round here. iOS 6 just bombed :D

What a surprise there (again)! :D :p

Still waiting for the new iPhone, that should be quite something!

Will no doubt, just be the same design as the 4/4s, just a 4" upgraded screen, quad core possibly (if even that) along with minor improvements for the camera etc.

So nothing that exciting at all on the hardware front considering we have had 4"+ screens etc. for ages now :p

Unless apple for once do something that no one is expecting :p

Yeah, but not on an iPhone. That's what I want.

They may change the design a bit, doesn't matter if not though as it's still the best!

Chances are, that apple follow their trend of it being a scaled down iPad, then we can expect a dual core clocked a bit lower than the iPad3's, and similar graphics, again clocked lower or something. Probably a 4" screen with 720p so that apple can still claim to have the "best PPI" without actually pushing any boundaries. Then the usual refinements in battery life/camera/iOS6/etc.

Although, there's always the hope they bring something interesting to the party!
