Aye also indoors they both produce grainy images, this much is expected of virtually all smartphones though
I was a bit concerned as well about mine so thanks for putting those images up. Mine is the same graininess as yours but that's indoors with indoor lighting. I will have to test it outdoors in bright light.... If I get any

Got my phone in the post from T-Mobile today. They sent me a new micro-sim, will this still be my same number?
If I sign in with my google account from my old Desire, does that download all the crummy apps I had installed on the old phone? I would like some apps like My Tracks with my running history and want my contacts and texts but not everything really...

I ordered a PB this afternoon from mobiles.co.uk and it's already showing as Shipped and apparently will be with me before 13.00 tomorrow.
That's only if you take one on a Vodafone contract though.
VF aren't my preferred network but it was the only deal I could find for a reasonable price and where the seller actually had the phone in stock.
(600mins, unlimited txts, 1GB, £28.50 a month, 'free' phone)

I'm with GiffGaff at the mo and, like you, I was also thinking of buying an S3 outright and continuing with GG
but £500 for the s3, plus 24 months GiffGaff at £10/month, = £740
whereas the VF contract is only costing £684 over the two years.

WTF? I ordered te exact same deal on Saturday and got an email Sunday saying the phone is out of stock and I should have it within 7 days. Now my order status just says "ordered" and no info on my credit check etc. Really pee'd off now, will ring them tomorrow to find out wtf is happening

So today has been the first day at work with my phone and a first indication of what to expect in terms of battery consumption when solely relying on 3G/HSDPA for the entire working day. I don't connect to WiFi at present there because our connection is being upgraded in a few months and as it stands it's too slow and shared so often poor.
I can confirm the S3 gets a stronger signal than the S2 does on 3 for me at work, it's 2 bars extra. Download speed is 4-5Mbit compared to the 2-3 the S2 was pulling from my desk.
On the S2, by the time I got home the battery would be down to 20-30% with around 2 hours screen on time, more % with lower screen on time though.
With the S3 though it's much much better, just got it down to 1% now and took screenshots:
I've also taken note of how long it takes to charge, seems not very long at all...

That was observed charging using the official mains charger via the Zenis dock. rather fast charging for a 2100mAh battery.

Really is great battery life that you're getting mrk. Is that with the eye tracking turned on or off?
Would love to see what you get with pure stock ROM though and no freezing of apps etc. as I said in the S thread (somewhere within the wall of text) your usage is the only one that impresses me, every other post on battery life and my friends usage isn't great (however, don't give the necessary info.
