***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Can anyone recommend some good quality earbud style headphones with in-line controls that work with the S3? Seems to be a minefield trying to find ones that have controls that can change track, pause etc.
 
Wanam 3.7 here too. Smooth as anything. Smoother than the previous leak too imo.

The IDA file server mirror was fastest at 2MBI/sec for me.

Only bug really that annoys me even on this official based JB is that when you hit the home button to wake the phone just as it goes to sleep the phone wakes but home button causes it to go back home. On ICS it would just wake the phone and not take you home which I liked.

Gotta get used to it I guess.

I'm still really happy with the last release on this tbh so thinking of staying put until the official JB is released...

If it ain't broke. . . . . . . . . .

EDIT: Doesn't say anything about full wipe if your on an old version? Suppose it is best practise to full wipe anyway
 
LIB is supppsed to be official thoigh isn't it?

Either way, PowerAmp needs to be updated I'm certain now as the transparency bug still exists.

i went from Omega 26.1 to Wanamlite 3.7 and did a full wipe

want to try latest Omega v27 but going to give Wanamlite a chance for a day at least lol

anyone who has tried Omega, they have 2 version, full bloat and one without bloat

does the one without bloatware help battery life?

IIRC this is because the double-tap of the home button to access S-Voice has been disabled. When it is enabled, the phone waits for the 2nd press which never comes hence why it wakes the phone.

If you don't want to re-enable it, I guess you'll have to get used to pressing the power button instead :(



Also - there is a transparency bug fix for other launchers, this may work with PowerAmp?

I will check out cheers but it doesn't seem to be launcher issue but instead poweramp not fully compatible with JB.

As for the home button, it's not disabled via any mod, I just don't use Samsung voice so turned it off in the app although the bug exists with it on anyway out the box.
