Knew you swapped from one to the other, but couldn't remember which direction you went in lol

I tried the latest Omega (27 is it?) but I found it really laggy and quite bug-laden... at which point I got sick of testing pre-releases and flashed stock to wait for the genuine UK JB release... but I'm not sure of the strength of the "Oct 9th" release date rumour so I'm tempted again lol

What kernel do you use with Wanamlite? I was using Siyah when I was running Criskelo v14 but the later releases of that were full of bugs too

Siyah has lag bugs in JB. I use stock kernel. It's my daily use ROM and I've not really seen any major bugs with it. yesterday I had one reboot while it was plugged into the car during route calculation in satnav but other than that it's been rather good. I'll just install on top with the final JB release when it's out.

So I've tried AOKP and CM10, personally slightly prefer CM10 but what are the other options/suggestions?

Whats the deal with wanamlite?

I like some of the Samsung features but not the cartoony looking icons etc, should I be looking at theming? And if I went with a fairly stock ROM could I theme right over touchwiz and have every icon done? I've themed iOS before now and there's always apps and icons that don't get picked up so stay as stock and stick out like a sore thumb.

After that, I guess I've now got a seriously powerful handset, what should I be doing with it? Is there anything at all that gives it a point to having a quad core cpu?

^^^ Yes, I find the best thing is to keep the stock Samsung ROM/or Samsung based custom ROM like Wanamlite and then flash a ICS/JB theme such as DOMINATION which is an OS wide theme.
