I have just updated to JB via Samsung Kies, and now need to re-root my phone/reinstall custom kernel.

All I want to be able to do is overclock, and use apps that require root access. I used nphetamin3 kernel before but can't find a version compatible with JB. Is Siyahkernel a similar sort of thing & flashed to phone in the same way via odin?

Also will CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 still work to root the phone with JB?

Ideal.... Just waiting for Dom 1.5 then I will reflash standard toggles and then Dom 1.5 as I went ahead and put 1.4 back on it.... Standard looks like a kids toy in comparison now I am used to Domination theme :p

Will most likely do the same once 1.5 is out. Had to configure a chaps JB S3 at work today, was so boring on the stock theme, and i've only had JBDom for a few days

probably the easiest android to flash that I've owned, and I've owned a few..

e: Its as easy as

Download Odin and CFRoot.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1695238
Load Odin and select the zip under PDA
Reboot your phone into download mode via volume down + home + power
click start in odin and wait for it to install root and CMW recovery

From there it's as easy as putting whatever ROM zip onto your phone internal SD card and select 'flash zip' in CMW recovery and sit back and enjoy.

ee: Or you can even download the toolkit that some guy built from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703488 and follow the most simplest of instructions that you're likely to find.

Thanks, is the process totally reversable? As in my onex you had to unlock bootloader etc but it always showed it had been unlocked

There's a flash counter that keeps track of how many times you've flashed the device but as far as I'm aware you can 0 that with TriangleAway app although I've not used it myself.
I've even sent devices back to the manufacturer (3 to be exact) with custom ROM's still on the device and had no problems although I wouldn't recommend it.

Anyone know how to fix this? It's starting to annoy my OCD now..

On a stock ROM it says EE(Orange). Before they changed it to EE it showed as Orange not @@@@@..

It pains me to see so much crap that comes with these Samsung roms :( The one thing I miss about the aosp builds is that theres next to no stuff I need to freeze with TB or disable with Autoruns
